Product premiere: MovingIMAGE24 launches Social Media Product Room for dmexco
New video tool for online marketing

Berlin, 07.09.2010. With the Social Media Product Room, MovingIMAGE24 networks sales-promoting videos with the relevant target groups in social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

The Social Media Product Room is a multi-media campaign page, at the centre of which is product presentation in a video. Videos increase the conversion rate in online shops by an average of 50% (study by Goldmedia strategy consultants). They ensure an increase in traffic and are "particularly gladly" forwarded by users (ARD/ZDF online study, 2010). To this end, the Social Media Product Room is linked to the best-known social networks right up to the shopping portals.

The portal is aimed, on the one hand, at consumers, and on the other, at operators of online shops and specialist traders. These traders are able to download manufacturer videos and use them in their own shop. Thanks to clear presentations in a video, customers are able to form an authentic image of the product. This not only promotes sales, but also reduces the number of returns. The Social Media Product Room is also optimised for Google. This allows excellent placement for the products presented, allowing users to find the product searched for more quickly.

Visitors to dmexco on 15 and 16 September will for the first time be able to obtain information on the Social Media Product Room at Stand A084 from MovingIMAGE24. dmexco is the world's leading event for digital value-add. It is a combination of exhibition and conference places, and is at the centre of a global market for innovative marketing.

Berlin, 01.07.2010. The interactive online video "IT@BMI erleben", presented by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and using online video technology from MovingIMAGE24, won first prize in the Category "Digital Media – Best Use of Video" in the Best of Corporate Publishing Award. The video was praised particularly for its linking of innovative, stylistic film production media with the most current online video technology from MovingIMAGE24. The web video "IT@BMI erleben" was considered by the 130-strong competition jury for corporate communication to be the best, and held its own against renowned competitors such as Gruner+Jahr Corporate Editors or the HOFFMANN UND CAMPE VERLAG (publishers).

From a technical perspective, the highlight of the film is a detailed animation that features the 15 country-wide authorities of the Federal Ministry of the Interior in the credits. Using online video technology from MovingIMAGE24, the video also contains interactive user-friendly functions, including easy-to-navigate chapters and links on the video interface to related interviews.

Responsible editor Mark Schlossarek and Head of Section in the Federal Ministry of the Interior Peter Christensen jointly accepted the prize yesterday evening in the Grand Elysée in Hamburg. Peter Christensen emphasised the significance of the video for the Federal Ministry of the Interior: "The recruiting video presents the Federal Ministry of the Interior as a modern and future-oriented employer of IT skills. The video was produced to the highest standards using innovative video technology, which really appeals to our target group." The managing director of MovingIMAGE24, Dr. Rainer Zugehör explained: "We are extremely pleased about this win. Moving images have meanwhile become a default on modern internet sites, and the many qualified submissions in this category illustrate this trend."

The winning video is online at www.perspektive-it.de.

The Best of Corporate Publishing Award is the largest CP competition in Europe, and attracts over 600 publications. Since 2003, the Forum Corporate Publishing (FCP) together with leading sector magazines such as Horizont and w&v have been honouring the outstanding corporate publications in the German-speaking world.
